Google Ad Grants management for nonprofits
Is your nonprofit getting the most out of its Google grant?
Get a free Google Ads audit to see where your grant is going.
What Google Ad Grants is
Google Ad Grants is a Google program that gives nonprofits search ads at no cost. The ads show in Google Search when someone looks for the cause your organization works for.
The grant is up to $10,000 a month. You can use it to reach donors, new members and volunteers, or to tell people about your work when they search for it. You can also run a regular, paid Google Ads account alongside the grant.
Who can get Google Ad Grants
In Finland, registered associations, foundations and religious communities can apply. Eligibility rules vary by country. Google’s partner Goodstack first verifies that the organization is a nonprofit.
Government organizations, hospitals and healthcare organizations, and schools and universities are not eligible.
Why Ad Grants accounts get deactivated
The grant is free, but it comes with rules. If an account does not meet them, Google temporarily deactivates it. These are the main rules.
- The account as a whole keeps a click-through rate of at least 5% every month. If it stays below that for two months in a row, Google temporarily deactivates the account.
- The account records at least one conversion a month, such as a donation, a membership sign-up or a volunteer sign-up.
- Campaigns use conversion-based Smart Bidding.
- Ads have at least two sitelinks.
- Ads show in the locations where people find the organization’s services or information useful.
- The organization answers Google’s program surveys.
Keeping up with the rules takes time every month. That is why ongoing management matters as much as the application.
What our Google Ad Grants management includes
1. Application. We help with Google for Nonprofits registration, Goodstack verification and the Ad Grants application.
2. Conversion tracking. We set up tracking for donations, membership sign-ups and the other actions that matter to your organization. Without it, the account cannot meet Google’s rules.
3. Campaigns. We choose keywords based on the words people actually use when they look for your cause. We build the campaigns and write the ads.
4. Monthly management. Our Paid Media Agents track the account every day. We cut weak keywords, keep the click-through rate above the limit and report monthly on what the grant achieved.
5. Reactivation. If Google has already deactivated your account, we help you fix the causes and request reactivation.
Google Ad Grants management pricing
The ads cost your organization nothing, because Google pays for them within the grant. Ad Grants management runs inside our Paid Media Agents team. Plans start at €3,000 / mo (Core, up to two agent teams). Billed monthly, cancel anytime. See our pricing.
The first step is always a free Google Ads audit. If you already have an Ad Grants account, the audit shows whether it meets the rules and where the grant goes today. You get a prioritized list of findings and fixes plus a 30-minute walkthrough with a Growth Strategist within five business days of receiving access. If you do not have an account yet, we run the same free review against your market instead.
Why Parvi
At Parvi, a growth strategist runs your Ad Grants account together with AI agents. The agents track the numbers continuously. The strategist makes the calls and reviews every ad before it goes live.
We also run Google Ads for companies, so we know the same platform from the paid side. If your organization later wants to add paid ads next to the grant, the same team can do it.
